Bowen Craggs offers its services to organisations with medium to large web presences or sites. We specialise in sites where there is no clear measurability – these are typically corporate, information, publishing or marketing sites. We will examine e-commerce sites, but do not seek to replace ‘standard’ usability studies.
Our services are individually tailored, with the exception of the major corporate website benchmarking club, which gives large companies the opportunity to share the costs of benchmarking their web presences.
We can, however, divide our work into two main categories:
- Pre-design analysis, where a client is planning a major redevelopment and wants to ensure the new presence is as effective as possible. Here we can offer needs analysis, competitor benchmarking, best practice identification, advice on scoping/phasing, advice on governance and full strategy development.
- Continuous improvement, after a site has been built or at any time during its life. Typical tools here are ongoing benchmarking, best practice identification in specific areas, audience research, interpretation of web analytics, risk management, compliance framework and internal communications (including newsletters).
