Electrolux, the Sweden-based household appliances giant. Makes a distinctive presentation of job vacancies in its Careers section. The job listing uses an unusual tree structure to display ‘Career opportunities’. Users may explore by location (the default listing) or by job function.

Clicking on the function or country name – there are five from which to choose plus a ‘Not defined’ option – expands the menu to show current vacancies in the selected area without leaving the listing page. Listings show the job function and job title. Selecting a job title opens the job description in a panel within the page that has its own internal navigation. This includes ‘back’ and ‘apply’ buttons which provide a clear path, respectively, back to the menu or to the online application form.
